My husband said it best: we want to teach our boys to be worthy of a Proverbs 31 woman. Not because Proverbs 31 is some impossible expectation placed on women, but because she’s a picture of wisdom, strength, kindness, generosity, and love. A guide. The kind of character we hope our boys learn to value, honor, and nurture one day 💛 And part of that starts here, now, with us… letting them see that moms (truly all women) are celebrated, cared for, thanked, and loved out loud too So my son and I “shopped” our home together to pull this little Mother’s Day setup together… using things we already had, setting out an empty MOM box and frame, and creating a starting place for celebrating. Then my husband and my sons did the rest 🥹 The flowers, the little surprises, the thoughtful additions…all them. Honestly, one of my favorite parts was watching my son take joy in making someone else feel special. That’s the kind of thing I hope sticks with him long after Mother’s Day is over.
