I received a message yesterday from someone who was responding to one of my reels and said that “Now I just have be brave and write on my photos!” That had actually never occurred to me. That bravery is need to write on your photos. I don’t think twice about writing on my photos - mistakes and all. In fact, I love it. I look at my photos as being living and breathing, tangible artifacts for me to tear up, cut out, and write on. In fact, I encourage my Photo Club to do that exact thing! I immediately grabbed a Kraft journal and started to deconstruct my photos - I don’t want to view that as precious momentos. I want to use them, to document my experience, to make sense of my world. To combine them with other ephemera and journal until my heart is content. Here’s your permission to write on your photos, tear up your photos, cut up your photos, we need your unique voice in this world! artjournalpage artjournals scrapbooking azzarijarrettphotoclub photography artjournalidea artjournalideas photographyideas useyourstash
