There was a time when I thought dinners like this—slow, intentional, and made with love—felt out of reach. I’ve spent so long dreaming of these moments, and now that we’re actually here, it means everything to me to just pause and enjoy this time as a family. Part of our ritual now is that every evening, the kids ask if they can help me in the kitchen. We turn on music, make "fancy" drinks, and just get busy chopping things together. Even though they are still so young, they’ve spent their lives by my side learning the ropes, and it has become such a cornerstone of our quality time. It’s amazing to see how much more they eat when they’ve had a hand in preparing the food, and I hope this inspires you to invite your own little ones into the kitchen with you. It’s incredible how cooking a real, nourishing meal can turn a regular weeknight into something that feels truly special. I’m so grateful for these slow evenings, the full table, and the chance to finally soak it all in.
