Why did the spicy scenes feel so raunchy and not in a good way? The storyline of this book was fun. Sloane and Wilder meet at a wedding where Sloane is writing a Wedding Journalism piece. Sloane is dealing with some of her own stuff as she was left at the alter 6 months prior. This felt very 2000’s romcom (think 27 dresses paired with misogynistic views and sex.) I cringed at a lot of the spicy scene’s word choices. Not my style. The number of weddings Wilder attending and Sloane wrote about was a lot.
