J.Crew Factory dropped new spring wardrobe staples last week! Here are some of my favorites. ⁠ ⁠ Collared denim jacket- I know you all love third pieces as much as I do. In this weather, there's nothing like a short denim jacket to put on and take off as temps change. This one is more elevated, ends right at the hip bone, so it's easy to wear with wide leg or straight jeans, and also with long dresses for waist definition. And it works with denim too! I'm wearing a Medium.⁠ ⁠ White wide leg cropped jeans- I own these in several washes in the regular fit (TTS). Here I tried the curvy fit in seashell white just to see, and it gives a nice and secure fit in the waistband. They're high-waisted with a 26.5" inseam and a stretchy fabric. The pockets have minor show-through. They fit true to size. ⁠I just ordered these since my old pair is a little big. ⁠ ⁠ Navy and white sleeveless blouse- So classic! I’m in a Small. ⁠ ⁠ Chambray sleeveless blouse- It's a little hard to see, but the notch neck has pleats. I’m in a Small. ⁠ ⁠ Cream crewneck cardigan- The woven pattern makes this easy to layer over a solid tee, or stripes like I'm doing here with navy stripes that match the dark wash jeans. ⁠I’m in a Medium. ⁠ ⁠ Midrise straight jeans- you’ve seen these before. Here’s an outfit I forgot to share from earlier this week when I did errands and dressing room tryons. I’m wearing these J.Crew Factory mid rise straight jeans in my true size. This olive jacket was at Nordstrom anniversary sale find a few years ago. I’ve linked similar options. This white tee is from J.Crew Factory, it doesn’t cling in the midsection. I own it in a few colors. It fits a little small so I sized up to a medium.

Last night’s dinner outfit. My nephews are on spring break and we went to our favorite dinner spot and Duck Pin Bowling. I’m loving straight jeans and just added this pair from @onequince. They’re the Bella Stretch Straight Jeans in the 28” inseam in Seaside Blue. They fit true to size and are so comfy and stretchy! They’re just $50. I sized up in this cardigan from Old Navy since it’s cropped. I went up to a large but a medium would work too with a 36-B bust.

If you don’t love patch pockets on the front of your pants, these J.Crew Factory pants have traditional slash pockets.

I tried my true size and a size down and couldn’t zip the size down, so your true size is best.

stretchy, comfortable, and so cute, and they would be great for everything from work to a night out.
I tried my true size and a size down and decided to keep my true size.
The rise is 11 ⅜ inches, and the inseam is 26 inches.
Note that the website image shows white buttons on the patch pockets, but they actually arrive with brown buttons.
Wear these pants with everything from a pullover sweater to a white tee with a cardigan or denim jacket, or even a chambray shirt. #work

These black pants from Old Navy are super comfortable with a pull-on flat front waist, elastic back, and a loose wide leg. They come in several colors and patterns.
They have a relaxed fit with a 29-inch inseam, which works perfectly with flats at 5’6”.
They fit true to size. I’m wearing a large here, and they were slightly big in the waist on me as a size 10. Yesterday, I bought them again in a medium, and they’re a perfect fit. Wear them with loafers to work, sandals for a night out, or leather flip flops or thongs for the pool. They come in multiple colors. I’m wearing this Old Navy peplum in a M with a 36-B bust.

These are LOFT Riviera pants that I own in several colors. Here I’m wearing the curvy fit in a size down and pairing it with a taupe short-sleeve sweater and leopard Mary Janes.
With slim-fitting pants, you can easily leave a hip-length sweater untucked.

These midrise Riviera pants from LOFT are a reliable go-to for me. I own them in black and also in a fall plaid.
This blue color is a darker light blue. With a 27-inch inseam and a 10-inch rise, they are truly a midrise pant that’s fitted through the hips and thighs with a slim ankle-length leg.
They’re stretchy and so comfortable, with a light smoothing fabric that feels flattering without being stiff.
I own Riviera pants in the curvy fit and always size down one. In the regular fit, I wear my true size. Here I’m wearing the regular fit in my true size 10.
I’m in a medium in this @oldnavy cardigan but could go down to a small.

These chambray pull-on pants from @jcrewfactory are amazingly comfortable. I tuck the drawstring into the waistband so it’s not visible.
They are high-rise with a 29-inch inseam, which is easy to wear with flats at 5’6”. They are relaxed through the hips and thighs with a wide leg all the way down.
Wear them traveling, to work with a blazer and loafers, or running around town with a tee and sandals.
If you’re not a shorts person in the summer, these are a great alternative.
They are 100 percent cotton. I washed them on cold and dried them on the delicate cycle, then hung them right out of the dryer. They were ready to wear with minimal shrinkage. They fit true to size. Go down a half size in these @target slides. I’m in a Medoum in this @walmart sweater.

If you like slim ankle pants for work, pair them with a hip-length short sleeve sweater for an easy work outfit. This sweater has a slightly relaxed fit to balance out the slim fitting pants. If the sweater hits around the hip bone or just below, just leave it untucked. Add a trench coat or light jacket and you’re ready. Fit: LOFT riviera pants, I wear a size down in the curvy fit or my true size in the regular fit. Amazon sweater: fits big, I’m in a small.

Today’s errands outfit. I needed slip-on shoes for easy try-ons. I like how wearing a sweatshirt with loafers feels unexpected, which is good because sneakers are too tricky in the dressing room with all those laces. These are @onequince Bella Stretch wide leg jeans in a 30-inch inseam in seaside blue. They’re so comfy with a 10.5” rise. I size up one with a size 10 bottom half. I own these jeans in two washes. They’re just $50. This sweatshirt is almost sold out, a similar one is linked.

I started noticing pleated waist dresses last year from @Anthropologie and this year they’re at every price point: from Old Navy to Walmart, LOFT, and Amazon to Anthropologie. Walmart has dropped some good pieces! In the winter I wore my Free Assembly cardigan on repeat so I’m excited to try these short sleeve sweater cardigans: that Peter Pan collar on the white pointelle cardigan and the gold nautical buttons on the navy cable knit cardigan are so good. This navy eyelet pleated waist dress is in the style that Anthropologie shared last year. I’ve been obsessed with cute pieces with sardines on them and this beaded wristlet is adorable. These pieces are a sell out risk and always sell fast.

I’m shocked that peplums became some of my most worn pieces last year. When you pair a peplum with easy pull on pants, you get an outfit that feels incredibly comfortable but still works for a night out or a work day.

These @oldnavy peplums are true style makers, yet they feel as easy to wear as a tee. They fit true to size. I’m in a medium with a 36B bust. I tried both the regular and the tall, and the tall gives you an extra inch of length in the back.

These @oldnavy Playa pants are super comfortable, easy to care for, and fit true to size. I’m in a large but would prefer a medium, they’re slightly big in the waist on me as a size 10. The regular length has a 29” inseam, which is perfect with flats at 5’6”. I linked a similar pair from @Target, and I’m in a medium in those.

I love how a trench coat adds structure to flowy pants and a puff sleeve top. I finished the outfits with intentional accessories, including leopard print Mary Janes that tie into the brown bead necklace and gold and black clover necklace, and loden green Mary Janes that coordinate with the green beads.

This came home with me on Saturday and has already had several compliments. This will keep you cozy and warm while bringing the spring vibes. I tried a few quilted short jackets and not all are this comfy. This one is soft, cozy, and feels as comfy as a comforter. I’m in a medium, it fits a bit big but they didn’t have a small in the store. The sleeves are a little long, and a smaller size may fix that. I’ll wear this running errands, for casual Saturday lunch, on cool spring walks, and to the ballfield.

The Old Navy website calls this a long trench coat, but this is more of a light long windbreaker. It’s super lightweight and perfect to pack in your suitcase or tote bag on a Saturday at the ballfield for unexpected rain. It’s quick drying according to the label and has big pockets. According to the comments, you can layer it over a fleece pullover. Think of this like a more refined version of a rain poncho you’d buy in a stadium and use it in that way. Since it runs big, I sized down to a small. The sleeves are long, and I cuffed them once. These @jcrewfactory jeans fit TTS.

This windbreaker comes in pink and black. I saw a woman wearing the pink one with black wide leg jeans on Valentine’s Day like a completer piece, instead of a cardigan. They are very lightweight and end at the hip bone and close with snaps. I’d love this more if the snaps were easier to close. I found them tricky. Wear them with jeans, pants or dresses. This LOFT dress was on the top of my list to try and I was so excited to see it in the store! Anthropologie showed pleated waist shirt dresses last year in both the long and short length and now they’re everywhere from Old Navy to LOFT, and even Amazon. The pleated waist provides waist definition. This brown with small polka dots is very wearable (this will work all the way into fall with boots). It has pockets. Wear it for a graduation, Mother’s Day, and even to work, or to a winery on the weekend, or even church. This dress fits big, size down, I’m in a small.

This lightweight striped pullover is channeling nautical vibes and super cute. It has a big pocket on the front for your phone, plus a hood to protect from wind and rain. It feels super nostalgic to me and like the pullover windbreakers I used to love as a kid.
Wear it at the boardwalk or beach, pool or lake, or just running around town on a Saturday when you want a little extra coverage in the spring or summer.

The website describes it as an oversized fit, and they didn’t have a small in the store to try, I’m in a medium with a 36-B bust. A small would also work.
