Hi Instas, I have no idea what day it is and I am so tired now I’ll need a holiday to recover from the holiday! So, with some delay, a little bit about Albania. Albania has been the most surprising part of this Balkans tour. There’s been a great push to modernise and develop the country in the last 6 years and it shows. The countryside consists of beautiful large houses with well maintained fully planted gardens. Tirana itself is a large city, with a mish-mash of old Italian style architecture and new design led high rises, sadly to the detriment of the historical buildings in some cases.
