Collected design in a historic home can’t be rushed. This spot in our living room stood empty for over a year while I searched for a 1940s secretary desk. This past weekend I finally found one on @facebook marketplace. After touching up a few scratches and reaffixing the finial, it looks like it has been here all along. Any guesses on how much I paid for it? I’ll link the products I used to touch it up in stories.
