Boden stripes! Many on sale.

The top fits more snug than I expected! I am in an XS and am usually a size 2 or 0. Do *not* size down. True to size!

For a 5 PM dinner in a strip mall… Here, I sported a chartreuse tasseled gladiator vested top (🧐) over disco ball sparkled cuffed, pleated and creased trousers (🤓), with an emerald satin evening bag and wool cardigan.

For…. A 5 PM dinner date in a restaurant next to the grocery store on a week day.

It was actually a fabulous date with my husband at our favorite locals restaurant, where I had a perfect crisp rosé with the most delicious baked salmon I’ve ever tried. Ever! I was so glad to be dolled up for what was to me a very special and festive two hours out!

Gotta get those thrills where you can! For me, getting gussied up for rather average experiences has not only put a pep on my step, but it’s become somewhat a of an inside joke among me, myself, and I. I sincerely smile and giggle at myself to see how far I can take it.
