Date night in the city calls for a special outfit, and this rust colored midi dress was perfection! The weather was still warm, so I paired it with an off white denim jacket (Kohls), suede heels (Toms Majorca Pump), and a suede bag (Mango). Too much suede? Not for me!

The dress runs small; size up if you need more space up top. Perfect for a show in the city, but would be beautiful for a fall wedding or fall family photos.

OOTD! I found this beautiful eyelash sweater at Old Navy this week (for 50% off!!!), and it will be a perfect addition to my winter wardrobe (it’s giving “fresh, powdery snow”, am I right?)

I’m also rewearing the pine green pants I purchased at J.Crew Factory earlier in the season. They’re so versatile and easy to spend the day in.

Do you like to mix brown and black elements in your outfits? I used to always keep those colors separate, but I think it can be done if it’s well balanced and includes neutrals. Here’s what I mean: the black pants are a natural choice to pair with the cream sweater. The brown boots are balanced by the brown belt, both of which look nice with the cream sweater. Thus, the overall look feels well-paired.

Fun story - Lindsey Lohan wore this coat in one of her Christmas movies, and when I saw it, I immediately went on a hunt to find it. She wore it in black, but I got it in camel (seen here) and deep green. I’ve already worn it several times this season (to parent teacher conferences, in particular) and will definitely be wearing it around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Most people don’t think of outerwear as being part of an ensemble, but it can completely round out your look! This coat is perfect to top off your outfit on chilly fall days.

It’s hard to believe, but the holidays are quickly approaching! I’m on the hunt for beautiful holiday pieces, and this dress checks all the boxes. Pair it with a cardigan and booties to dress it down, or wear it with a dress coat for date night.

Dress - by Vince Camuto, and is a beautiful rust-red, but also comes in black. It’s a gorgeous suede material, which I’ve paired with nude, suede heels. The top is very fitted, so size up for more breathing room. I’m wearing xs.
