Overall, this was a good story. I enjoyed the single dad trope—it’s endearing to see a man step up and embrace fatherhood. Iris was weird but still likable; she said and did some odd things, giving her a carefree, youthful vibe. As the story progressed, both she and Archer showed real growth and maturity. Olive was an absolute delight—I loved how her presence shifted the main characters’ paths so quickly and deeply. There are plenty of cameos from characters in the previous books, which adds a fun layer for returning readers. Dream Harbor seems to be full of attractive people pairing off and hooking up.
