**Why I curl my face-framing pieces FORWARD 👇**

I know we’ve been taught to curl everything *away* from the face—but I curl mine **forward on purpose.**

✨ Curling **forward** creates volume that **cups around the face**.
✨ It gives me those sweet little flips through the ends.
✨ It keeps the movement close to my cheeks instead of pushing everything out.
✨ It creates that soft, face-cupping shape I love.

When I curl **back and away**, it creates more volume through the **temples and sides of the head**—and that’s not where I want my volume.

I want the fullness to come **forward and around my face**, not out at my temples.

Sometimes the direction of your curl is the whole reason your bangs or face frame aren’t laying the way you want them to.

**Forward = face cupping + little flips 🤍
Back = temple volume**

Save this and try curling your face frame forward next time before deciding your bangs aren’t working. ✨
