Down 5lbs so far, and I’m taking things one morning at a time. My routine has been helping me stay consistent cooking breakfast, setting a slower tone, and making choices that support where I’m trying to go.

I’m still working on discipline with food and navigating cravings, but every day feels a little more aligned. This journey is a mix of progress, patience, and showing up for myself in small ways.

I’ve gained some weight, and I’m figuring it out.

To be transparent, I took some meds that made me gain about 20 pounds.

I’ve lost five, but this other fifteen? Yeah… she’s still here.

I changed my diet, started moving more and honestly, nothing worked.

And being almost 50, it’s definitely been on my mind.

So I finally made it to @winsomeprime ✨.
Met up with @whitneybjordan for happy hour, the vibe was cool . Their happy hour menu, most of the appetizers and cocktails were only $7 🙃.

Now let’s talk favorites those truffle fries 😮‍💨… hands down the best I’ve had. The lemon drop was pretty solid too.

I still need to go back for dinner before I can give a full review, but if you’re looking for a happy hour spot with good snacks + cocktails, this is worth checking out. Word on the street is Fridays are the move 🤏🏽😉.
