Are you feeling fall yet? Bridgette has got her fall wardrobe plan in motion. We’ve linked to her blog post all about it in our IG stories. Here are a few of her ride-or-die staples Bridgette swears by and, okay, maybe one piece that she’s got her sights set on. We’re looking at you, Max Mara 101801 Icon coat. Some pieces, like her navy Stella McCartney blazer, is a blazer Bridgette will wear forever. Some she buys in multiples at once, like her J.Crew vintage v-neck t-shirts. Bridgette thinks you can never have enough Saint James Bretons, and she’s ready to pick up another white Frank and Eileen Joedy shirt because if the one she owns gets damaged she might go into mourning. She calls her Felize loafers from M.Gemi, the Lay’s potato chips of shoes because you can’t just own one pair (she has 6, in addition to 8 other pairs of M.Gemi styles), and Aquatalia boots are all she wears in the winter due to their amazing weatherproofing. Akris Punto pants, and all their pants for that matter, always fit and are exceptionally made. She is loving J.Crew’s curvy slim-straight jeans and is consistently blown away by the quality of Quince’s cashmere and other products for the prices. She also wishes she was never introduced to Demellier bags because now she has something new to obsess over.

We call women’s clothing sizes 16-18, the cell phone dead zone of fashion, especially when shopping at better and luxury price points. Nobody seems to want to claim this woman. A size 16 isn’t a plus size and not all women who are an 18 need a 14W, which is meant to be the plus equivalent. So the 16/18 woman sort of floats around in with few places to shop which is ironic considering the average size a woman in the US wears today is a size 16/18. We embrace her and have helped many clients create amazing styles no matter what size they wear. Our thanks to brands like Akris, Vince, Lafayette, Kobi Halperin, Veronica Beard, M.M. Lafleur, Vince, and Eileen Fisher among others who have come through for us and listen to the needs of women today.
