Hi! I’ve decided to start a new series titled “Diary of a recovering beige addict” 🤣 Because, it’s true! This sweet little home has forced me to pull my creativity from hiding and this time around I’m having FUN with patterns and color!

Starting with covering this sweet little beige lamp shade with fun fabric! Thank goodness I’m not a perfectionist, because if so, these stripes would have Driven me crazy. After finding the correct adhesive and returning the iron on, I used a combination of hot glue and permanent adhesive.

I definitely questioned myself and…yes, it would have been easier to just purchase a patterned lamp shade but this was fun and I got to watch a rom-com in the process, so overall it was a win!

I did round up a few fun lamp shades, if you want to add some layers to your home (without the DIY!) just comment “LINK” & I’ll send them and my kitchen links to you!

Lemon tastes🍋🍋🍋
* 1 unbaked pie crusts
* 1 cup lemon curd
* Powdered sugar, optional
* Easter or spring sprinkles, optional

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray mini muffin pans with cooking spray that has flour in it. Set aside
2. Set your pie crust out to became room temperature
3. Roll it out and cut flower shapes out of it with flower cookie cutter
4. Cut out as many flowers as possible
5. Re-roll the scraps and cut more flowers, you should be able to get 12-14 flower shaped dough pieces
6. Put the pie flower in mini muffin tins, leaving an empty space between pies
7. Press them into bottom well and gently fold the petals back around the top of the muffin pan
8. Prick the bottoms with a fork
9. Bake cookie tarts for about 8-10 minutes or until golden around the edges
10. Let cool and remove from the pans carefully
11. Fill cooled cookie with a few teaspoons lemon curd and top with sprinkles
12. Sprinkle with powdered sugar

the viral Grillo’s Pickle dip🥒🩷(220 cals + 23g protein) this recipe makes (6) 1 cup servings:
-32oz container of halved Grillo’s Pickles
-16oz low fat Good Culture cottage cheese
-6oz reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese
-3 slices center cut bacon
-8 wedges Light Laughing Cow cheese wedges
-1/4c Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning
-6 green onions
-2 fresh jalapeños
-1/4c pickle juice
-season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

*Blend cottage cheese and laughing cow wedges, along with 2tbs pickle juice, and spices together until smooth. Mix all together!
