How to hang garland on your mantle the right way (from a former Nordstrom visual stylist) The biggest mistake I see people make is only using one strand of garland - that’s why it looks flat and sparse. The secret to a full, lush, and realistic look is layering multiple types of garland together. Here’s exactly how I did it: ✨ I used 4 total strands (2 of the viral Hobby Lobby garland and 2 of the Kirkland’s dupe for the Afloral garland) ✨I hung each strand one at a time using four 3M cord bundles (two on each side of the mantle) to evenly distribute the weight. Make sure to follow the 3M directions and let them sit for at least an hour before adding any weight or they’ll fall off. ✨Always hide the loop of your garland in the middle where it can be covered with greenery, not on the outside. 📌 Save this tutorial for when you’re ready to decorate for Christmas.
