Making myself a priority has been hard lately. Some days even getting a shower feels like a struggle, when I’m trying to fit everything into slivers of time. And let’s face it, not taking care of yourself can have a huge impact on your mental health. So I’ve been trying to push myself to get ready a few days a week.

Now, we might not be doing full glam everyday. But getting ready can consist of getting an outfit that I put effort into on. Not just the first clean thing I found. I don’t know about you, but there just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day right now. One of the first things I put off is hair washing day. I hate having to blow dry my hair in the winter. I feel like it adds at least an hour onto my getting ready time… and I just don’t have the patience for it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve traded in my mombun, since my hair is on the short side right now. And most of the time I’m rockin this chic, slicked back bun. I love that my hair isn’t all over the place while I’m chasing the kiddos. And I can look put together with minimal effort. #winning
