We wanted to give our sweet girl the most amazing second birthday, filled with everything she loves—a day all about her! 💕We started the morning with a surprise—decorations and gifts to kick off the celebration. Then, we took her to Build-A-Bear, where she picked out her special birthday bear (which, of course, had to be dressed as Moana!). After that, we enjoyed a delicious family lunch, and while we had planned to visit the zoo or park, we knew we couldn’t skip out on ice cream—a rare and special treat she absolutely loved!

Back home, we sang ‘Happy Birthday,’ she blew out her candle, and we ended the night snuggled up with some fruit and her favorite movie, Moana. ❤️

We feel so blessed to have been able to give her a day full of love, joy, and fun. She is truly our greatest gift, and we love her beyond words! You’re so welcome!

Daughter’s Bday

For my daughter’s book-themed birthday party, I wanted the centerpieces to feel personal, so I made custom books that tell the story of her life so far! 🥹✨

Here’s how I made them:
📚 Painted books in the party colors
📖 Used my Cricut to cut out vinyl letters for the spines
🔹 Stacked & glued three books together
🌸 Added a plastic vase on top (child-proof!)
🪨 Filled it with white rocks & flowers

The best part? Each book title is a real experience she’s had in her two years of life! From petting a kangaroo to hiking mountains to feeding chipmunks—I had more stories than books to put them on! 😂 But I love how they turned out!

Just:
1️⃣ Print your image twice on cardstock (flip one of them).
2️⃣ Cut them out.

Every chapter is a new adventure ✨📖 For our daughter’s 2nd birthday, I made this giant open book as part of her ‘Chapter 2’ theme! I used 2 foam boards from Dollar Tree for the cover and 6 poster boards for the pages, attaching them together to create an open-book effect. The ‘pages’ tell a little story about these past two amazing years, with a special sketch of her reading The page number 24—because she’s 24 months of pure joy! 🥹 I hung it on an arch with ribbon to create the perfect backdrop behind her cake table. ✂️✨ Watch the full process to see how I made it!

Painted a birdhouse with my daughter, and she was obsessed! She loves watching the birds eat at our feeder, so this was the perfect craft for her. After we hung it outside, she ran around yelling for all the birds to come—my heart completely melted! 🥹 And the best part? This little birdhouse was only 99 cents! Totally worth it for such a sweet memory. ❤️🐦
