I picked these amazing jeans up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this summer and have worn them SO many times. The drape is beautiful—it skims over the body without clinging, even around the tummy, which instantly makes them more comfortable and confidence-boosting. The gray wash is a perfect neutral color, and it can easily be dressed up or down. They are modern, yet classic enough to wear for years and years to come. The fabric is ultra soft and comfortable, and they’re a good stepping stone into the wide leg fit. Not the bell-bottoms from the 70’s, or an extremely wide silhouette that might feel like too much if you’re just trying this style for the first time. TTS.

When you really want to bring the drama, the Alice + Olivia lace sleeveless bodysuit delivers just that. Lace always feels romantic and feminine, but the bodysuit silhouette keeps it sleek and sexy. Paired with light-washed wide-leg jeans, you get that mix of styles that I love—so sexy on top, totally easygoing on the bottom.

The Veronica Beard Kasey jeans in this look are a new pair that I’m really liking! I actually sized UP for a looser fit and lower rise and I absolutely love the oversized, slightly baggy modern silhouette. These jeans are also super long. The inseam is listed as 32.5″ which is usually great for me, but I ended up having to hem them. Which was no problem at all since they’re a raw hem and can simply be cut to just the right length!
