The “Carrie” coat by SIMKHAI, is one of my favorite finds of the season. It’s beautiful, elegant, and truly a standout coat that I’ll be picking up time and time again. It has fringe trim along the hem and collar of the coat which gives a subtle western flair. Both western details and the color chocolate brown are VERY on trend this season, which is just another reason to fall in love with this one.

Next week, I am having a double bunionectomy, which means I’ll have my bunions corrected on both feet at the same time. (Super glamorous, right? 😜) Usually you can only have them corrected one foot at a time, so finding a doctor that could fix both at once was a game-changer for me. I will keep you posted on how it goes!

Post-surgery, I need to wear a special orthopedic sandal on each foot…meaning I can’t wear regular pants or shoes for weeks. My new style uniform for the upcoming season??
