These bootcut jeans are the perfect combination of comfortable, timeless, and supremely flattering. These are mid-rise, which can sometimes feel better than high-rise (depending on your body shape and tummy), and the slim bootcut shape balances the hips beautifully. They also add the illusion of curves to my rectangle body shape, which I LOVE.

This pair of jeans has been a Busbee best-seller for many months—and I completely understand why. The fabric is featherweight (read: heavenly), the dark grey wash feels fresh, and the relaxed drape is flattering without being sloppy.

I personally love the longer length and subtle puddling at the ankle. It’s chic, effortless, and elongating with heels. But! If you live somewhere rainy or snowy, I get that this length may not be ideal. City walkers—consider a platform or slight heel to keep things clean. I’ll pair these with my black wedge snow boots in the winter.
