As a prior stylist, the first thing I always did with a new client wasn’t go shopping…it was go through their closet and find the gaps. And nine times out of ten? The problem wasn’t that they had nothing to wear. It was that they had nothing to build from. Wardrobe basics are your style foundation. Without them, even the most beautiful, trendy, expensive pieces aren’t functional. They have nothing to anchor them.
