Skirt season is in... and the stylist will see you now! ;) Skirts have always been a classic wardrobe staple, but we've seen a huge resurgence of them in fashion over the last few years. It started with chic mini skirts... but now is the season to bring the drama with bold, longer skirts. Think voluminous fits, bright colors, fun patterns, and sculptural details! Styling longer skirts can be a bit trickier... the key is maintaining or creating a flattering figure. For example, the sculptural peplum-like details on the beautiful black-and-white skirt I'm wearing, combined with the flutter-sleeve top, create the illusion of a lovely hourglass figure.
