DIY American Bow Flag from Sheets & ribbon! 🇺🇸🎀✨ Materials: • 2 king-size white sheets (cotton or muslin work great) • Gray fabric scrap (for the stars section) • Wooden stars (to be painted white) • Scissors • Hot glue gun or fabric glue • Dowel (for hanging) Instructions: Step 1: Prepare Your Fabric Strips • Tear or cut the two white sheets into long strips, about 3” wide and 24"-27”long (they don't have to be exact-imperfections add to the charm!). • Cut enough strips to cover the width of your dowel, this will form the "stripes" of your flag. Step 2: Add Ribbon for Color • Cut your red ribbon into similar lengths and mix them in with the fabric strips. • Alternate white strips and ribbon strips for a classic red-and-white striped look. Step 3: Tie on the Strips • One by one, tie the strips and ribbons onto the dowel using a simple loop or knot. • Continue until the entire dowel is full and the fabric hangs evenly. Step 4: Make the "Stars" Section • Take a rectangular piece of gray fabric and hot glue wooden stars onto it in a scattered pattern. Step 5: Hang It Up! • use two nails underneath the dowel to hold in place. Felted garlands @pearlandjane use code: XOMELISSA for 10% off!! LTKFindsUnder100 LTKSeasonal LTKHome
