This mermaid core dress I shockingly happened to have lying around in the closet (🙄😅) was perfect for The Little Mermaid movie debut. At first the whole video was all about the sparkle… But it ended up turning into more than that for me. It made me thank myself for the years of moving regularly. My disciplined hour of exercise 4-5 days a week has become my oasis. I adore the movement and the focus. It has become a form of meditation. It has also enabled me to recently stand up onto the armrest of an airplane seat and contort myself whilst dislodging my fellow passengers carry-on bag that had unfortunately ensnared itself in the overhead compartment. Yay for me!

I actually find the best color combinations to pair with gold or silver metallic leathers are neutrals and cream tones. The contrast is softer between those tones and metallics. They always look very fluid. They talk to each other in soft whispers. Whereas, sometimes a silver or gold leather jacket paired with something black looks a little jarring. P.S. This fantastic chainmail vest is a vintage piece. I’ve had it for 25 years, and supposedly it was Jerry Hall’s. It’s made numerous outfits.

For years I stayed away from the classic trench coat in beige (it is not my color). In the past few seasons, there have been so many fantastic iterations and combinations I couldn't take it anymore. I finally cracked with a cropped COS trench a couple of seasons back. I've been using lipstick and accessories that complement my skin tone to brighten the look. If a piece in the wrong color is speaking to you, try a little smoke and mirrors 😬😜. It works every time.
