DIY Welcome Sign 🌈🎀🎨🧵✨ 🌼 Supplies You’ll Need: • @ikea clothing rack • 2 yards of fabric (plus 1.5 yards extra for bows) • Sewing machine (or needle/thread) • Serger (optional for clean edges) • Cricut • Heat transfer vinyl • Painters tape • Iron • Canva (for design layout) • Measuring tape • Scissors ✨ Instructions 1. Prep the Fabric • Cut fabric width to 30 inches. • Hem the top loop to 4 inches so it slides onto the rack. • Optional: Serge and hem all edges for a clean look (or leave raw for a relaxed vibe). 2. Design & Cut • Create your design in Canva. • Split it into sections no larger than 12x24” to fit Cricut Maker 3. • Cut vinyl and weed carefully—use painters tape to hold vinyl down while weeding! 3. Apply the Design • Iron vinyl onto fabric. • Tip: Place fabric back on the rack between presses to check alignment and avoid an off-center layout. 4. Add the Bows • Cut 1.5 yards of fabric into 6 pieces. • Fold, sew, and turn inside out. • Attach to each side for a decorative touch. 5. Outdoor Use Tip • If using outside, add weights or cute accents at the bottom to prevent it from blowing around.
