Sometimes I’m a Rule Breaker! One of my travel capsule rules is to pack versatile items that can be styled in multiple ways. But sometimes rules are made to be broken! Sometimes, I just want to pack something special, something I love, something that may not follow my own self-imposed rule…like this dress! And I allow myself IF it’s possible. Sometimes, it’s not an option, like on long trips when every capsule item counts, but if it’s a trip where I have a little leeway, I’ll make some trade-offs as needed, and I’ll pack my “rule breaker” item! And although I’m breaking one rule, I’m still sticking to others: Every shoe I bring works with the dress! The dress transitions easily from day to night! I will wear the dress at least twice on my trip. Carry-on travel should not mean you can’t bring something special.
