The first thing I do when I buy new clothes (after trying it on) is wash it!

Seems so obvious but the laundry detergent you pick for yourself and your family can make all the difference.

My youngest has sensitive skin so I’ve been more conscious of the products we use in our home. @Branch Basics has been a fave as far as cleaning supplies goes so I decided to try their laundry detergent and it’s been great! I feel good about the product I’m using and it still works just as good (if not better) than the prior detergent I used!

In the Kitchen with the Boys Ep. 1 👨‍🍳

My oldest has been baking and cooking with me since he was under 2 years old so it was time to get little brother in on it! He loves to copy everyone so it’s the perfect time to have everyone learn and practice some kitchen skills 🍪

We made some banana bread (we used a recipe by The Balanced Nutritionist) and it came out great! Loved using Kodiak pancake mix for some extra protein. Made for a great breakfast and snack option 🍌

This might be obvious to other people but it’s something I’ve just started trying so I could save time and gym bag space.

My office is business casual so my go to was always a basic tee with work slacks, a belt, and penny loafers. So I just switched my basic tee to a basics workout tee and it’s been a great substitute! Perfect when I plan to workout so I don’t have to have multiple pitot changes in one day.

Two little boys + one waterless soap = a very useful combination 😂

If we're out, I can pretty much guarantee my boys are going to touch everything—toys, playgrounds, random surfaces, the floor 🫠... you name it.

I've been keeping Nowata with us because it's an easy way to clean their hands when there's no sink around. It's plant-based, doesn't require water, and is gentler on their hands than typical sanitizer.

It's definitely become one of those things I didn't know I needed until I had kids 🤍

Any other moms constantly saying "don't touch that!" only for them to touch it anyway? 😂

A fun little setup I made for my son’s first day of school. All of the fun decorations are by @thelettervee 🤍

More on this set up coming this week. My son was so happy to see his homework area all decked out.

And the best part is it just took me about 40 minutes, including looking through different designs, picking my favorites printing them out cutting them gluing the ones that needed gluing, stringing the ones that needed stringing, putting the actual basket together and then setting everything up. I’d say that’s a win, especially since I did it after he had gone to bed. Thankfully, I didn’t end up in bed too late that night 😆

Getting organized before school starts 🚙

Our playroom also serves as a space for our son to do his homework so I try to keep it as organized as possible so he doesn’t get distracted while completing his work.

This garage looks so cute and it’s held big bulky cars, hot wheels cars, and now his monster trucks! It’s gone through many iterations but it keeps everything looking nice.

Three years in a row using the lunch boxes and backpacks from @Pottery Barn Kids 🍎

Our son LOVES monster trucks so he picked this fun pattern for his things. We like to get the matching set so it’s easy to identify which items are his (both for him and his teachers).

I also love that everything has a place. The water bottle easily fits into the lunchbox and that straps into the backpack.

They have so many designs, backpack sizes (we use the small), and options to personalize. You can also choose the color of the thread (our son picked two different colors for his lunchbox and backpack as you can see).
