If you’ve ever struggled with perfecting your winged liner and your tools just aren’t cutting it—try this. All you need is a creamy dark brown eyeliner pencil (I’m using one from @colourpopcosmetics ) and your fingernail. Yep. Just your nail…💅🏼 Start by lightly sketching a soft line along your upper lash line using the side of the creamy pencil. (And yes, opt for dark brown instead of black—it’s much more forgiving.) Begin lining from about halfway across your lid, aligning with the center of your pupil, and gently tightline outward. Once you reach the outer corner of your eye, apply a bit more product than usual. It’s okay if it’s messy—no need to worry about precision just yet. You’ll want to smudge and sculpt immediately before the liner sets, so work one eye at a time…👁️ Here’s the magic part: take your clean fingernail—specifically from the ring finger of your dominant hand (I’m right-handed, so I use my right ring finger)—and gently drag the liner up and out. This sharpens the wing and creates a subtle flick from the outer corner of your eye, angled toward the tail of your brow. Don’t stress if it looks imperfect; you’re essentially using your nail like a straight edge to sculpt the shape..📐 Once you’ve defined the wing, take a dense eyebrow brush (the denser and smaller, the better) and tap a matching dark brown eyeshadow directly over the liner. This sets the cream product in place and softens the overall look for that seamless, diffused finish…😍 The result? A soft, lifted wing with zero brushes and zero stress. Bonus: it looks way more natural than a harsh liquid liner…😊 Try it—and thank me later. 😘 wingedliner wingedeyeliner makeuphacks
