Okay, real talk — I almost walked right past this dress.

It was on the sale rack, the print felt a little “meh” on the hanger, and I had that voice in my head going "do you really NEED this?" Then I tried it on and the voice went completely quiet. 😂

My report card literally said “talks too much.”

$Okay I need to tell you about this dress because I am still not over it. This is a Tuckernuck dress. For those who don’t know Tuckernuck — it’s a preppy, elevated brand and their dresses are not cheap. Like, full price would make you pause and stare at the ceiling for a minute. 😂 This one? Never worn. Clearly someone bought it, never took the tags off, and then it ended up on resale — and then it ended up on me. And I am calling that a divine appointment. 🙌 Flutter sleeves, a cinched drawstring waist, beautiful tiered midi skirt, stunning blue floral print. I threw on my wedge sandals and did the spin and honestly? I looked like I had my entire life together. (I do not. But the dress doesn’t know that.) I found this floral midi dress and fell in love immediately. Then I spotted the matching floral skirt for my daughter and the decision was made. Coordinated mommy & me Easter looks, fully intentional, and we loved every second of it. 🌸
The styling secret that made this outfit? The woven belt. Cheers to 19 years! Okay I have to tell you how our anniversary actually went. 😂
Packed my dinner dress. Packed my cute shoes. Did my hair. Felt very together as a human person.
Forgot my golf shoes entirely.
So I played golf in flip flops, pretended that was normal, changed into my anniversary outfit at the club, and walked into dinner looking like I had it ALL together. My husband is used to it 😂. The golf course, however, has seen things. 😂
The dress is gorgeous, the dinner was wonderful, and somewhere at home my golf shoes sat absolutely useless on the floor.
