This area rug is one of my absolute favorites! The warm earthy tones throughout are absolutely beautiful, and pull this entire space together. For rule of thumb, I always leave the top of the rug about a foot or two out from our nightstands, allowing an equal amount on either side of the bed, and allowing space at the end as well. Never start your rug at the top of the headboard!
