The [high rise] is what makes this work. It starts the leg line up here, so the extra length reads intentional instead of puddled. Same reason the last pair worked, different cut.
Wearing them with [boots] here, but they'd work with a low sneaker too since the hem sits right at the ankle on me.

Day five hair, filmed in my car, because that's honestly when I use this.

I was a hairstylist for thirteen years and I still let my roots get to the point where I avoid the rearview mirror. What's changed is what I reach for.

Most dry shampoos are powder in a can. Spray one into your palm for five seconds and look at your hand. That white cast is exactly what's sitting on your roots when you're wondering why they look flat. It's also all over my dash, my steering wheel, and my seat.

Everyone's going to think this is designer. It's Walmart.

The jacket and skirt are a matching set, the fabric has that thick tapestry weave that makes cheap things look not cheap, and the little contrast collar is doing a lot of work. I styled it with tall boots and my go-to bag and called it a day.
