It is already the biggest honor of my life to be called this girl’s mama, but to be able to also add being her coach to that will be one of my greatest life’s treasures. I grew up with my dad being my coach my whole life & although we had an AMAZING experience, i want to add more to it. Everyday our 1-2 hours of tennis is the highlight of both our days. Its OUR time and we can do what we want with it on the court. We play, we laugh, we cry. We talk about everything and also talk about nothing. We work hard, and we rest. I want for the tennis court to mean so much more than just “this is where I play tennis”. I want build the tennis court to be her safe place. To be the place where she unwinds after a hard day or the place where she can escape life. I know we will have our tough moments on the court too, where we yell & cry full of frustration but that’s all part of the beauty! How excited I am to hold onto this for now, I cant wait to see what’s next 🤍🎾
