The right organizing product should do more than just hold your stuff—it should help create a system that keeps working.

Before I buy a bin, I think about two things: what needs to fit inside it and exactly how much space I have for it.

And once you find the right size, let the container become the limit. When it’s full, that’s your cue to edit—not buy another bin. ☺️

You want to buy the right containers to organize your craft supplies. The right products help create a system. The wrong ones just add to the clutter.

A Lazy Susan: When it comes to craft supplies, these are a no for me. Markers, crayons, pencils, and scissors are all different sizes, so they rarely look neat or stand up properly. They're also not stackable and tend to create more visual clutter than they solve.

A Craft Cart: Another no. Not only are these large, but they can quickly turn into a rolling pile of clutter. They're hard to keep neat and everything is left out in plain sight, creating even more visual clutter.

Instead, I prefer stackable pencil cases, clear bins, and containers that maximize space while keeping supplies easy to access and easy to put away.

By keeping a donation basket right inside your closet, tossing things in regularly becomes almost automatic. If it doesn’t fit, is it your style anymore, or just isn’t worn, it goes straight in.
