⚜️What do you wear to a fashion show? I interviewed four seriously stylish women after the @raulpenaranda and @lonzashoes.official show in New York City. Then I got a surprise at the end when a photographer I didn’t even know grabbed my phone and turned the camera on me. I wore LONZA to the show, of course. My Claudia heels also appeared on the runway. My @tuckernuck dress has been a wonderful outfit repeater, and it got a last-minute restyling in the bathroom from former model Debbie Dickinson, Janice Dickinson’s sister. She tied it around the front instead of the way I usually wear it in back.

This Lily of the Valley Oscar de la Renta dress is one of a kind. The flowers stand out amid the crisp white material. A perfect summer dress for parties, Polo, and more. The Lauren Rubinski earrings are stunning, so is the Eric Javits hat and Chanel sunglasses.

The fall color combination I can’t stop thinking about: chocolate brown and powder blue. This Fair Isle cardigan stopped me in New Canaan. I linked the exact sweater if available, plus similar styles to get the look.

LONZA carried me all summer, from miles of reporting in Nantucket sneakers and viral videos to sandals in Greenwich and The Hamptons.

Today, we’re going glam in the Claudia heels, and I’m thrilled to be part of their big day with Raul Peñaranda.

A polished alternative to sweats. This striped cotton-cashmere set from Faherty pairs a relaxed sweater with wide-leg pants for an easy, pulled-together look. Wear the pieces together for travel or separately with denim and a crisp white shirt.

The red soles of Greenwich, Connecticut. Greenwich style leans preppy and understated, but even here, women appreciate a subtle flash. Enter the Louboutin red sole.

Louboutins have a reputation for being uncomfortable, but some of the women I met in Greenwich had a very different take. One even told me she walks her dogs in them.

⚜️I stopped her for the overall look, but the story behind her basket made it even better. Her Nantucket basket belonged to her husband’s grandmother, and she is still carrying it today.

Paired with a fantastic Oscar de la Renta dress and that beautiful umbrella installation at a Nantucket event, the whole look was impossible to miss.

I love when great style comes with a story.
