My attention span was god awfullll, and my ability to just be still with my own thoughts…non existent🥴 Over the last 4 weeks, limiting my social media time to just 30mins-1 hour every other day changed everythinggg. I’d been avoiding taking actual action in my doomscrolling habit (apart from just complaining about it), because I was scared of what would be on the other side! I imagined it would be such painful process, but really it just felt encouraging and exciting! There was a steep dopamine withdrawal period around the 3rd week, which was a pain to get through, but after that week, I feel like my old brain is truly back! Just give yourself 48 hrs and you’ll show yourself unplugging is really not the end of the world!
