The details: Ceilings: 8ft Beam Measurements: 14’L x 6’’W x 4’’H Beam Style: Timber in Antique Brown Number of Beams: 4 1. Order samples! We ordered 6 different colors and textures before picking these. (Every style can look so different depending on the house!) 2. Always order a longer beam than needed. For example- we ordered 14ft beams for our room that is 13.5ft and cut them to size. 3. Measure with a laser level + mark with a chalk line. 4. We cut 4 blocks to the width of beam opening in order to secure the beams to the ceiling. We fastened the blocks to the ceiling with toggle bolts since none of the beams were in line with the ceiling joists. 5. Secure beams to blocks with a nail gun…. Done!!!
