Some of my goals this year has a lot to do with the health of my hair, growth and working on my hair loss around the temple from pregnancy/ postpartum. Even though a lot of it is hormonal, I am still figuring out what I can do to prevent so much loss and bring in regrowth. Leave all the tips below! The summer I learned to love my natural hair ✨🍯🥹

Not going to lie, I can’t believe I made it this far. 🫣 This journey unlocked something in me and sharing it online unexpectedly made me love creating content even more. Seeing your comments and knowing I’ve inspired even one person has truly been the icing on the cake. During this postpartum season, getting to show up and share this journey has been so refreshing for me personally and creatively.

At this point, it’s OFFICIAL 👏🏽👏🏽 adds “natural hair” to bio 🤭 because I’m still learning, still growing, and definitely not done exploring this side of myself.

Whew, I almost threw in the towel because this was kind of intense, but I would 100% do it again for the outcome. What do we think of how it turned out. I think in the future, I would use a lighter weight mousse to get more of a fluffy look and I also need to work on my rolling technique with the rods. I feel like my roots weren’t fully in it. 🫣😆🙃

3 months postpartum with my second little human and instead of trying to control how the journey plays out, I have really been leaning into rediscovering this newer version of myself. Embracing the weight gain, the annoying hair loss from postpartum, life expectations and everything else that comes with it.

I know the time will come to lose the weight, get my hairline back and have a full nights sleep, but that’s just not my life right now, so imma do the BEST with what I got. 👏🏽👏🏽

If you are in the thick of postpartum or any drastic life change and feel very lost due to it all, it does get better. Be patient with yourself and know that I am rooting for you. 🫶🏽
