I’m still looking for dining chairs… We waited on the “plan A” chairs for nearly a year, but they get pushed back every month. I am starting the hunt over. I also would like to add stained wood paneling to the ceiling and add a buffer against the wall with mirrors. In looking for chairs with you all in stories, many of you asked about this dining table so I thought I would ‘link’ it and share dimensions. It can be 79” or extend to 118” (we have our extended). My hope is to have 10 seats at this table. When designing and building, I pictured all of us sitting at the island to eat most of the time. Surprisingly, we eat dinner at this table every night. It’s nice to have that one pause moment in the crazy days to sit down as a family, pray, talk about our days, and enjoy a little time all together. Do you eat at the same spot every night or is it more “wherever we land”? Either way is fine and in different seasons we do different things. Right now, for us, it’s this table and we love it. Soon it will be sports and on the go and so we are enjoying this gather spot. Have a great Saturday, friends!♥️
