Comfortable enough for a road trip. Cute enough for dinner. This lightweight two-piece set is exactly the kind of outfit I reach for when I want to be comfortable but still feel put together. The top has a relaxed, drapey fit with shorter sleeves, and the wide-leg pants are soft, breathable, and easy to wear all day. You can keep it casual with sneakers or add a scarf, jewelry, and a cute bag and suddenly it feels like a completely different outfit. The green set surprised me. I’ve never really been much of a scarf person, but lately I’ve been having fun seeing how one simple accessory can completely change a look. Some tops just make getting dressed easy… and this is one of them.

I paired this gingham top in red and black with both blue and white wide-leg jeans, and I honestly love all three looks.

💙 The blue denim feels a little more casual for everyday.
🤍 The white denim gives it a polished summer look.

A few sizing notes because I know you’ll ask:
• The gingham top is a Large, and I’d definitely size down to a Medium for a better fit.
• The blue wide-leg jeans are a size 10 and fit perfectly with great stretch.
• The white pair is a size 12. I don’t like white jeans skin-tight, but these are just a little looser than I’d prefer, so I’d probably stick with my usual size.

These jeans are comfortable enough to wear now with sandals, but they’ll transition perfectly into fall with sneakers, loafers, or ankle boots.
