This sweet little tradition started last year, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. She uses her mom’s old waffle maker from Canada, makes homemade waffles, & even had slippers waiting for us. The table was set so beautifully with holiday china, even a warm cozy tv holiday setting, everything was absolutely delicious …just what this mama needed. Grateful for cozy mornings & great friends. So all “4” of us booked an early flight to make his game tonight. My parents met us up here too also for my Dad’s Birthday weekend.

What a game, we got to see Austin come in and RELIEF in a stressful inning at the Riverdog Stadium.As a freshman that’s a big deal, because as you know freshman got to earn their stripes!
He did great; love seeing him in his element in the game he is Soo passionate about! ☺️

Honestly they have the best spicy rigatoni out there… it’s insane! 🍝

🍂 It’s fall, y’all — my favorite time of year! Decided to do a little refresh for our front porch and house. We just got our driveway done, and of course the leaves were falling all over it. 😂 So I usually blow out the leaves, clean the glass windows, put up new wreaths, refresh the rug… and since I cannot keep real flowers alive to save my life, I went with faux florals this year (thank you, Mom, for that tip!). Calling it a day ✔️

Just trying to find our new normal. For those of you who have dropped your kids off at college, I’m sure you can relate.
Three things that have really helped me:
1️⃣ Quiet time, reflection, and prayer.
2️⃣ Walking a lot (weighted vest and all!).
3️⃣ Organizing and finally tackling all the things I’ve been procrastinating.
