I’ve had a grab-and-go toiletry bag for myself for years, and recently I finally did the same for my kids… and it has made packing so much less stressful. For me, the worst part of packing has always been the last-minute stuff: toothbrushes, meds, hair products - all the random things you use every day and can’t pack early. This completely solved that problem because now everything is stocked and ready to go. I keep the bag hanging at home on a heavy-duty Command hook so I can grab things when we need them and I can easily see when something is running low. You could definitely keep the bag zipped and stored, but I like the visual reminder. Now whether we’re leaving for one night or ten, all the essentials are already packed. And that’s one less thing for my mom brain to stress about.

Each little egg tells part of the story of Jesus - from Palm Sunday to the empty tomb. For the 12 days leading up to Easter, I hide an egg, kids find it, open it, and we read the story that goes with it. On years we’re crunched for time, we do a few eggs at a time. Then kids can use the eggs to retell the story in their own words. Such a simple, but meaningful way to keep Jesus at the focus on Easter.

I went over to my friend’s house today because they’re leaving tomorrow for Mexico with their toddler. Suitcases was open, outfits everywhere, the usual pre-trip chaos that we all know about well. I showed her this hanging organizer + packing set and it took barely any time to get everything packed up. The best part? When they get there, they just unroll it and hang it - no unpacking and no digging through a suitcase every time they need something. Such a lifesaver for traveling with littles.
