When you have a chronic illness or a physical disability that is temporary or permanent you need to adapt your home to meet yourself where you are at. From a surgery to cancer treatment to burning out from work- if it helps disabled people it will help you. Currently in an autoimmune flare, I accomodate myself with a shower chair, a soap pump dispenser, heated towels, and wall mounted toiletry baskets to hold everything within reach. I also use self care products to boost my mental health when being present in my body is excruciating. This is a safety measure so I am less likely to faint or fall from lack of energy or dizziness due to health conditions. I will tag items I find helpful for shower days and what I can use on days I don’t have the energy to shower like dry shampoo and waterless body scrubs. Meet yourself where you are at and you’ll find yiu have more space to do the things that matter most. LTKFindsUnder50 LTKHome LTKOver40
