I decided to try the crochet trend, and I have to say that I am happy with my selection. This dress is from Target, and I chose it mainly because of the black vertical side seam. Stylist tip: As you can see, the contrasting color in the side seam helps streamline the dress's shape (and me). I find that sweater dresses can sometimes be bulky, and I don’t always like the shape they give you. But the black side seam breaks up the dress and has a slimming effect.
