πππππππ β₯οΈ One year ago, I was preparing for my wedding. One of my best friends, Anam, threw me a small bachelorette party with the help of my sister, and then my sister included me in her bridal shower to show me love as a bride-to-be. In the Indian culture, these two events are not part of the festivities, but I am so honored to have those who celebrated my American side. During the week of the wedding, my parents threw me the traditional Hindu Indian pre-wedding festivities every bride has: a Haldi, a Mehndi, and a Chooda ceremony. Thank you to everyone who came to join me in my happiness. My husband gave me a dream wedding and husband, and my parents-in-laws gave me the ideal post-wedding ceremony that a bride can imagine. Thank you to everyone who celebrated us - I cannot believe itβs been a year already! Missing all our wedding festivities!
