What nobody tells you about shower tile is that the layout alone can completely change the vibe of the room. It’s not just what tile you choose—it’s how you lay it. In our basement guest bathroom, we’re using this soft, wood-toned subway tile, and I couldn’t decide which layout to go with. Stacked? Offset? Vertical? Horizontal? I tested four different layouts—and each one tells a totally different story. If you’re planning your first bathroom reno, this is one of those little design decisions that makes a big impact. You already know I overthought this… and I’m so happy with where we landed. ✨ Tap the link to shop the tile we used—and see a few of the pretty things I’ve added to my cart for this space. 🎥 Then head to YouTube to see how it all plays out in the full guest bathroom reno: @DrapersDoingRenos 🎥 And head to YouTube to see how it all plays out in the full guest bathroom reno: @DrapersDoingRenos bathroomdesign showerinspo tilelayout subwaytile diyrenovation tileideas bathroomrenovation ltkhome designthinking bathroomtrends interiordetails renovationproject homeinspo LTKHome LTKStyleTip LTKFamily
