👖| Jeans to the office?! ABSOLUTELY!
I know wearing jeans to work can feel a little too casual, but if your workplace allows them, here is how to make them look and feel more polished.
• Choose a dark wash over a light wash, it instantly feels more elevated. I’m wearing the high rise wide leg @whbm jeans for looks 1 & 2 and they are perfect for the office!
• Try a monochrome look. Black jeans with a black top, shoes, and bag always look sleek and sophisticated!
• Dress up the classics! A simple white tee and (dark) blue jeans can easily become business casual with a blazer, belt, and heels.
• And most importantly, make sure your jeans fit properly. If they're too long or too short, they can throw off the entire outfit and make you look sloppy.

🙋🏻‍♀️ I’m 5’7 and wearing a size 4. WHBM jeans have a generous amount of stretch and tend to run big, so size down - I am usually a 6.

I won’t lie, I’m not a big amazon clothing shopped because I was burned a few times! 😂 but y’all wanted me to see if I could find some work appropriate dresses that were affordable & chic! My expectations were low - but I was surprised. I’m 5’7 | 36 D | Size 6 | All dresses are a size Medium

Purple Linen/Cotton dress: $52.99 the dress looks quite different on me vs the model - which is why it’s always important to remember our body types when browsing online hehe but I love it! As someone who rarely wears a V-Neck, I don’t mind it here! The button is a little taught but once I swap my bra it’ll be fine. (iykyk)

Pink Dress: $39.88 I LOVE this dress! The fishtail bottom adds such a lovely shape.

Yellow Dress: $89.99 Would not recommend! Thin, sheer, and shapeless.

Purple dress: Looks much darker online is actually closer to fuschia! It’s not very thick, I would wear a slip under but for $35, the shape, cut, and color are lovely!

Blue dress: $47.99 I LOVE this dress so much! It is so insanely soft, I cannot even tell you. The way it moves when you walk, the way it falls - just so nice. It comes in 20+ colors and yes, the brown one is now in my cart for fall!

Pair 1 + 2 🖤 Target | $35 | Someone thought these were the Aritzia $120 pants! I could just end it there haha but these are what I go for when I neeeeeed to be comfy all day. Super stretchy waistband in the back, i could SLEEP in these how comfortable they are.

Pair 3: Spanx | $89 down from $168! GREAT deal! Wearing a 6, true to size, but runs long. These are SO damn good. Thicker fabric, double lined around the tummy, not constricting, so well made and classic silhouette that I reach for all the time (and will till the wheels fall off!)

Pair 4: GAP | 6, Tall | $89 | true to size. I absolutely adore how these trousers move + feel. Very flowy & drapey and just look so chic. They go on sale often and are available in 5 colors.

Pair 5: Aritzia | $158 | Size 8 (sized up from 6 bc they run small) comes in Petite, Reg. Tall. These are definitely more expensive but *such* a good fall/winter pant. They are structured well, look $$$, and feel great after a full day. I also have the matching blazer - those two together make me feel like a million bucks!

I saw these recently and I feel like they were too good to be true so of course I had to do my own test!

What do you think? Was it easy to tell which was $40 which was $140?! 👀

If you asked me which to choose I’d say: if you have the budget and are planning to have these last years and years and want a higher wrinkle reaistability then 100% Aritzia. If you’re looking for a more budget friendly pair that is similar and wrinkles less and are fine knowing you likely won’t get several years wear out of it, go for the alternative version.
