This year, my first born, Laila, started kindergarten. This was such an emotional transition for me. Since she was born, she has always been home with me. I work from home so I’ve never had to send her to daycare or to preschool. This was the first time that I ever had to be away from her 😭😭

We miss her so much during the day! But she absolutely loves school so that has made the transition a little bit easier 🥹

This is literally the cutest project I have ever done! They are so easy to make and they only need three things! You start with 36“ x 4“ mailing tubes. You use card stock and mod podge to make the labels and lids! I also sprayed mine with a shiny seal afterwards. I used my cricket to print out the Crayola label :)

How fun are these giant pencils for back to school?! They are so easy to make and only require 3 things!

There are so many things you can use them for from first day of school pictures, to using them as party props or even decorating the house for the first day of school 🥰

***Just make sure you put the hot glue on the paper first and let it cool for a couple of seconds or it will melt the pool noodle!***
