Ok so your kids’ backpacks are about to come home and an entire school year’s worth of stuff is going to explode into your house. This is what you’re going to do. • Grab a few large baskets to contain everything so the clutter doesn’t immediately take over if you don’t have time to deal with it right away. • Store shoes + gear. Throw coats and laundry straight into the wash. • Toss broken supplies and recycle papers immediately when you can. • Anything you want to sort later? Put into folders for now. I also learned to pull the last day of school signs out early because otherwise I’m scrambling at the last minute 📸 And grab a few extra gift cards while you’re out — there’s always someone at the end of the school year you’ll want to show a little extra appreciation for 🤍 Once you actually have time to sort everything: • Larger memorabilia → small storage tote • Artwork + papers → memory box • Supplies worth saving → gallon ziplock labeled for next year • Good extra supplies → add to your home art stash LTKmomlife
