Took my kids school clothes shopping today and here’s all of the things I bought myself! 😬

Why is it that you can always find things to buy when you aren’t looking for yourself?

Crinkle Gauze obsessed! I looked high and low for this set before my trip to Europe and couldn’t find it anywhere…well now I have and the quality of this set is incredible, it comes in many colors and I’m loving the set paired with a striped short (same material). I am wearing size M, for reference. It’s screaming perfect East Coast Summer vibes!

This whimsical blue pinstriped dress was the icing on the cake! So flattering I just can’t get over it and it didn’t require a bra, BONUS! Size 10

The Only Camera Lens You’ll Need!

This Tamron 28-200 telephoto lens is a game changer! I was so tired of changing lenses and always missing the shot. This lens is the answer I have it paired with my new favorite camera (Sony Alpha 7IV), but it is a universal lens that works with many types of cameras. You will see the quality of this lens at the end, as I have included some shots taken on a recent trip. I use this lens exclusively and it’s almost perfect.

Occasionally I am slightly too close and in those cases I just pull out my iPhone and use that camera. Otherwise, this lens does the job. I joke that my next lens will be the Sony 200-600 when I book a Safari, because that is all I am missing.If you have questions at all, feel free to message me. The perfect camera!📸

This Sony Alpha 7IV has been a total game changer for my photography and I cannot recommend it enough. I honestly struggled with the price, but the ease of use and the quality of my photos speaks for its self. I am obsessed. I added a few photos to the end where you can see the difference with a Tamron telephoto 28-200 lens that I am using with it, but it is by far the best camera that I have owned. If you have questions at all, feel free to message me. However, if you have been considering it or are looking for an extra special Christmas gift I say, just do it!

This is my newest travel essential!

This travel steamer/iron is not only something that I use for travel, but I use it at home too. It automatically converts for the voltage of the country that I am in, which is amazing to take it with me for international travel. It works better than any iron I’ve owned. It works great on all fabrics. You can use it hanging or pushing down like a traditional iron. It truly makes life traveling so much simpler, as I no longer fear what will happen once I open my suitcase. It’s been a total game changer and it’s a great price and even better when you can get it on sale (but worth it either way…I paid full price and I don’t regret it).

I use to drag my family from tree lot to lot and make them search of a real tree and to be honest, I was the only one that loved it! This 12 foot faux tree is gorgeous, didn’t cost a fortune and is easy to set up and take down! This is my third year with it and, while it does require a little fluffing each year, I am so happy that I switched to a faux tree.

These high waisted target jeans are amazing! Leave it to my 16-year old daughter to tell me what I need…she told me that my 69-year old mom had cooler jeans than me (I typically still wear skinny jeans, and I am not about to stop)! But I must admit that I do love these. She picked everything out and they are styled here with a t-shirt and body suit that are both from target. I will link a similar cardigan and boots that are incredible, weather-proof and so comfy for travel! The belt is Hermes, I wish I could link that, LOL, but alas, I don’t think they give commission on that. For reference, I am wearing a size 10 in the jeans and an XL in both shirts.

Thanksgiving Outfit and Super Fun Jeanthanks
So my daughter and I went to Target and she informed me that I needed some new jeans. She decided to play stylist and this is where we ended up. I think I love them. So fun with embellishments down the sides, these 90’s baggy jeans (what was once cool is now cool again)! I styled them with a black tank top, also from target, some fuzzy Gucci dupes (Amazon/linked) and a beautiful coat rented from Armoire Style (there is a discount code for rental in my bio). It would be the perfect casual Thanksgiving Outfit and I am bring it with me to the Georgia mountains for our quiet family Thanksgiving. I forgot to mention these shoes are amazing too! I love them for winter travel, they are so warm and like wearing slippers, but incredibly cute !

I have always had REAL Christmas trees, so I was rather picky when I decided to purchase an artificial tree last year! This tree is amazing and I am super happy with it. I always buy 12+ foot Christmas trees so it had to be large and you know that means expensive. It is also really difficult to purchase these things online. However, I did and I was so happy. There is a lot of “fluffing” that you need to do, but that is normal with artificial trees. Then it looks full and amazing. The price is amazing at under $800 regular price and even better when it goes on sale so hit the favorite heart to be notified if you want to know about sales! It comes in both white lights and colored lights and multiple light modes. It really offers everything you could be looking for in a tree and at a great price. Breakdown and storage were easy, considering the size of the tree. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to put it back up again this year! It is also available in 9.5 feet and 7 feet too!
