What a beautiful event surrounded by the most wonderful people 🤍

Sofia is beyond happy with how her birthday turned out, and honestly that alone makes it such a personal win for me. Moments like this feel extra special these days.

We had the most incredible entertainment that both the kids and adults absolutely loved. The energy, the music, the joy — it made the whole celebration feel magical.

I’m so grateful for my amazing village. My mom who selflessly took care of Nathan so all the attention could be on Sofia in the evening, and the help during the day while we were setting everything up. My wonderful mother-in-law who helped host and made everything run so smoothly. And my husband who not only made this whole celebration possible, but somehow kept me calm through it all — truly husband of the year.

And the cake was absolutely beautiful and the perfect finishing touch.

My heart is full 🤍✨

Even the wallpaper in the bathroom is gorgeous and that’s exactly how I’m starting this about Blackbird in Naples, Florida.

From the moment you pull up and valet takes your keys with a smile and a “have an amazing evening,” you’re met with a stunning marina view. A beautiful statue leads you to the black door, which opens into a jaw-dropping Asian-fusion space that feels both elegant and exciting.

There is truly nothing on the menu I wouldn’t eat, and everything we tried was beyond delicious. This isn’t one of those trendy places serving tiny bites on oversized plates. At Blackbird, the portions are generous, almost family-style, and every bite is perfectly balanced.

The short rib and bone marrow dumplings melt in your mouth, and the beef jerky is hands down one of the most flavorful things you’ll ever taste. You don’t even need the sauces, though they’re incredible too. For mains, the whole Pekin duck was as impressive as it was delicious.

And just when you think the night can’t get better, the chocolate dessert arrives with fire and drama, the perfect ending.

The service alone deserves its own post. From accommodating us with a better table for a high chair to constant check-ins, spotless table resets, and fresh utensils, it was flawless.

Yes, we’re absolutely going back. In fact, we’re going again this week.
